Ok, you must have seen this face on Social Media, but let’s get to know the person a little bit!

What makes you who you are as a person.
An independent and supportive family environment, experience of studying, working and living in diverse cultural set-up, all ups and down faced during the journey so far have contributed to my making.

Fill us in your title, company and what you do for a living.

What’s your game plan with India HR LIVE, why you do what you do here!
Social media is constantly evolving. India HR LIVE is an excellent social community which offers multiple opportunities to learn, experiment and grow in HR. I am here to gain and share ideas, experiences and opinions with HR Industry leaders and peers.

Enough of the serious stuff! Let’s move to something fun & personal about you!

What are your favorite movies and why!
Among my favorite ones are Guru, Black, Men of Honor, The Pursuit of Happyness – they all entertain, educate and inspire at the same time.

What is the one lame thing you are excited about!
I enjoy making paintings in MS word paint…little strange! But I have even won contests for it.

Share something that you feel is awkward and interesting about you
I live by set-routines( I set them for myself), even in day to day life….any variation is sure to disturb me.

Name the book you read recently and why do you think our readers should check it out.
I am very fond of reading and books are my major purchases. I would recommend a few of my all time favorites:
That is all I have to say by Swapn Seth: The book explains life philosophies very creatively.
The power of habit by Charles Duhigg : A good read for anyone trying to make changes in his life.
The Great Indian novel by Shashi Taroor : A very clever portrait of Indian politics and culture.

Name your favorite gadget that you can’t live without.
My Nexus

What do you love & hate about HR.
The most interesting fact about HR toady is that it is no more just about people, it is equally contributing strategically and functionally to organizational success. I dislike the fact that it is still widely considered a support function.

Finally, Why our readers should read what you write here.
I write about personal experiences, stories and lessons I learn in HR every day. My writings are not an expert’s opinion but view-point of an observer.
