Diversity is not a buzz word! Successful organizations take deliberate efforts to have a diversity program in place. They have experienced that having diverse workforce helped them further their company goals. Infact, When organization expand globally being able to adapt to the new culture and render services based on individual needs of people from a multi cultural environment will be very crucial. And so does the need for a Diverse Workforce!

Join us while we share the platform with Diversity Advocates across the globe to discuss ‘Hire for Diversity’ on May 5th, Tuesday at 8pm IST / 9.30 am CST /10.30 am EST.

Harlina is the Head of Centre of Excellence for Employee Engagement, Communication and Diversity at Reliance Industries Limited. She also leads Reliance’s HR Academy – a powerhouse of building deep HR domain expertise in partnership with SHRM.

She has 22 years of experience having worked in companies such as Xerox, General Electric and Genpact prior to Reliance Industries…which is where she gets her DNA of Quality, Process Excellence, Project Management, Leadership and Organizational Development with fanatic focus on Employee engagement practices.
She has done her Master in English from Punjab University and has multiple professional certifications to her credit. Some of the notable one’s are – PMP from PMI – US, Six Sigma in GB/BB from GE and CPLP from ASTD. She is now well on her way to getting the GPHR from SHRM as well…..

Harlina has been closely associated in the field of Diversity for nearly 10 years, first as an active member of GE Women’s network, moving on to setting up and leading GenWin (Gender Diversity Initiative of Genpact), has been a core member of WILL (Women in Leadership) forum and now as Head of Diversity for Reliance Industry.
At Reliance Harlina has been at the core of Learning and Development Business Transformation journey for Reliance Industries and was the Head – HR for Shared Services before her current role.

Harlina’s personal interest range from Adventure sports to Urdu poetry and she is now experimenting with the amazing world of Social Media. She has been invited by NHRDN to be on their committee for Diversity and Inclusion and help draft out policies and practices to help corporate India

  2. Apart from Gender, apart from culture, apart from geographical diversity, apart from any of the others, I would have a valid point ! would want to voice out

  3. Am I looking @ the population which can be brought in to the working lot ! various professionals who can contribute a part of their time, not @ a full time…this has not been brought out at all.
